.22 Mauser "Deutsche Sportmodel" DSM 34
The DSM 34 is the .22 version of the Mauser K98 7.92 rifle. Germany was banned by the Versailles treaty from producing full bore rifles so they built the DSM 34 to get round it which with a different barrel and action became the K98 service rifle. This is a 1935 dated example and is in very good condition including the barrel. The rear leaf sight is graduated in 25 meter increments from 25 to 200 meters. It has matching numbers to the action, barrel & bolt and it retails its original leather sling. The overall condition is good with fading brown patina an excellent addition to any .22 military rifle collection.
