This is a Volunteer Pattern CLLE, although a volunteer pattern some marks would indicate that it has been with the South African military at some point. The woodwork has extensive knocks and dings but all of the metal work is in good condition and it has a brand new proof. The barrel is clean & bright and gauges .3035 at the muzzle. The bolt, action, barrel & windage adjustable rear sight have matching numbers.
