This 1906 dated “ER” marked for King Edward B.S.A & Co Sht LE Mk1* is truly exceptional and I can say that you will not find a better example anywhere other than the Pattern Room. It is fully matching in the original and correct font to the bolt, action, barrel, nose cap and rear sight. Given its condition it has never been issued as there are very few signs of wear, even the bone inserts to the rear sight are perfect. It comes complete with a correct contemporary leather sling and it has the cleaning bottle and pull thru fitted in the butt. It has a new proof as it had never been done before, this is a truly unmolested example of a very rare rifle for the serious Enfield Rifle collector and it should be kept in this condition for future generations enjoy.
