This .303 Lee Speed B.S.A. Co Volunteer Pattern Artillery Carbine is undated but these Volunteer Pattern rifles and Carbines never were. The military equivalent of this carbine was produced in the early 1900’s which would make this Carbine around 120 years old. It has matching numbers to the bolt, barrel, rear-sight and action and has a very crisp B.S.A Co Cartouche stamped on the right hand side of the butt. The barrel is dark in the lands but has good strong rifling, in good overall condition with knocks and dings commensurate with its age. Complete with its contemporary leather sling.
