Volunteer Pattern rifles and Carbines are not dated as a Service rifle would be but c1900 would be in the ball park. It resembles the Magazine Lee-Enfield Carbine but without the top wood , it has matching numbers to the action, barrel, bolt and rear sight. Overall condition is very good as you would expect from a Private Purchase carbine this includes the barrel.
