This is a 1960 dated No5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine produced at the Rife Factory Ishapore in India. It is in very good condition and appears to have been made using some UK B.S.A. parts as shown by the M47C marking on the flash hider. It has fully matching numbers and has a bright strong barrel that gauges at .3031 at the muzzle. A rare find in this condition, ideal for the collector or competition shooter as it benefits from having a “long” butt.
