Although considered to be a trials rifle the Mk V had a production run of around 10,000 rifles between 1922 & 1924, the serial number range is up to 9999 with a prefix letter A. It never saw general British issue but some were sent to Greece & Ireland. This is a 1924 dated example and is genuine not a built from parts rifle, it has matching numbers to the bolt action, the ‘24 dated barrel and the nose cap. A particularly good example including the barrel which is clean and bright.
