This is a 1915 dated example made at the ERFURT factory. It does not have the finger grooves that are normally found on rifles from this date but some cross over is bound to occur around quoted alteration dates. The bolt does not match being serial numbered 15, but all of the other numbers match down to the screws. It is in very good condition with and exceptional barrel that is mirror bright and has good rifling. It comes with a genuine and original sling. An exceptional piece of German rifle history.
