This has been listed here because I have now listed my L42 A1 sniping rifle for which this sight was used with it, the “J” bracket in the CES for the L42 A1 is the mounting bracket for this sight.
The sight is complete as issued and is complete with the mounts for the L1A1 GPMG, the L2A1 Carl Gustafs, the 44EX1 mount for the L1A1 Self Loading rifle and the exceptionally rare L3EX1 mount for the AR15 / M16 rifle. These sights were taken out of service many years ago and whilst parts do appear from time to time is is very rare to find a complete set.
